Flint Group can now offer a full range of certified products which can be used for compostable packaging. Our solventbased ink series for specialised purposes have received the “OK Compost” certification and were also accepted by the DINCertco for the “Seedling” logo of the European Bioplastics.

In order to give maximum flexibility, a tool-box has been certified, including

• Pigment concentrates
• Technical Compounds (solventbased) or Technical Extenders (waterbased)
• NC-varnishes
• Whites
• Additives (waxes)

Inks for compostable applications can be supplied as tool-box components to be mixed at the customer’s site, as a range of standard base scheme inks or as ready made spot colours – whatever your requirement: we are glad to help.

Flint Group has furthermore introduced new and improved lacquers that give plastic films either a paper-like appearance and touch (tactile varnish) or a soft-feel.
